The eudiometer is used as a gas collection tube. A small amount of gas can be ignited by applying an electrical current to the two platinum wires which are sealed in the end of the tube. The tube is closed on one end, and it is graduated with a white scale up to 100ml. Always wear protective clothing and eye protection when performing this experiment.
