The Mechanical Wave Kit helps students explore standing wave patterns at different resonant frequencies, longitudinal waves and the node and antinode points on the wave. This is a basic kit with the most used and important pieces of the kit. It includes a Sine Wave Generator that allows for adjustment of both the sine wave output and the amplitude. A Mechanical Wave Driver provides the vibrations on a string or spring. Also included are the sting, spring and connector cords.
