Electroscopes are used to detect and roughly measure the electric charge on an item. This aluminum-leaf electroscope has a metal case with a round viewing window. This is a sturdy electroscope with two glass windows so it can be viewed on both sides. The aluminum leaves have holes on the top that are placed over the hooks inside the electroscope. This make replacing the foil much easier than with traditional electroscopes.
Replacement foil is also available.
